Pre-Engineered Building Design
A Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) is a structure created by a manufacturer and constructed with a previously agreed upon inventory of materials and fabrications. They differ from conventional buildings but are still able to provide custom-built features and unique architectural designs in less time, and often at a better price point, than a typical conventional built facility. PEBs are low-rise (typically two-stories or less) and are mainly used for Industrial buildings. Benefits of PEB include:
-
Cost-effective due to higher grade of steel and shape of members.
-
Time saving.
-
Versatile and offers various architectural options.
-
High structural integrity and quality.
-
It is completely bolted structure, so no site work is required expect erection and bolting.
-
It can be hot dip galvanized, if required.
At Softskil Consultants, we provide a complete design of PEB with all the connection details.
